Your assumption sounds a little vague> I don’t know what you believe about America and other countries. Britain for example did away with slavery well before America on paper well before America yet Liverpool built ships faster than the Royal Navy and financed an illegal slave trade for decades afterward. I don’;t know when you believe slavery actually ended in America and its territories. Please give me a date and I’ll disabuse you of the notion.
