“Where do I start? You start off by saying, “It’s time for Democrats and Republicans alike to prepare for the possibility, no, the probability that Donald Trump won’t be the Republican nominee in 2020.” Which, you got wrong! Why did you get this wrong? Because Maddow and others also spread unsubstantiated rumors and stories that Cohen was trying to sell in hopes, he could get a reduced sentence. His stories lacked credibility and integrity, and most lawyers, including democrats, dismissed them.
There was and is no proof Trump committed crimes while in the White House. The whole bank fraud Maddow believed she found was debunked by others and showed again why she is an unreliable source for news.
You also claim that the Republican party has given up on Trump, and there will be a rash of challenges. Wrong again, the party is more united behind him than they have ever been, and there wasn’t a rash of challengers at all, but a few kooky people who hardly made a blip on the screen and have dropped out.
Your entire article was filled with rumors, inuendoes, false premises based on terrible information and opinions that never amounted to anything. How about printing a retraction, or at least apologize to the public for being so wrong in your article?”
Thank you for your reply, apparently, the word “lie” doesn’t mean what you think it does as you failed to point out any. I made a prediction that has yet to come true and increasingly looks like it won’t. Not because I lied or there wasn’t evidence Trump is a criminal, the Republican Senators literally refused to listen, refusing to call witnesses.
You say there’s no proof Trump committed crimes while “in the White House.” I submit proof is available, including the ten instances of Obstruction of Justice pointed out in the Mueller Report, but the witnesses haven’t been allowed to testify, subpoenas have been ignored, documents haven’t been produced, all of which is winding its way through the Justice system as the Trump lawyers and interestingly the Government’s lawyers are doing all they can to keep them hidden.
You were careful to mention he didn’t commit crimes while in office, his financials will detail his known deals with Russia, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, which may well flow into his strange conduct while in office. His relationship with Deutsche Bank, the only bank that would loan him money at one point that has already been punished for laundering Russian money is still unknown. Court after court has said he should release those records, what remains to be seen is whether the Supreme Court decides he is above the law as his lawyers have already claimed.
There are Republican challengers but state after state has dismantled the primary process so their voices are not heard. Fear of a tweet has apparently caused all in the Party to cower before him. Republican elected officials may stand behind him (mainly out of fear) but the Independents that supported him in 2016 have faded in their support. His handling of Corvid-19 has exposed him for the inept, weakling that he is. His daily press conferences aren’t demonstrating strength, leadership, and winning personality; rather his stupidity and fallback position which is to try to lie his way out of any situation. I suppose I should give you credit for loyalty, conviction, and standing by your man. Instead you likely fall within that still large percentage of Republicans that think he’s telling them the truth about Corvid-19. It would be the first topic yet he’s been truthful about. If you have any doubt about his truthfulness, ask any of his wives.
