This was one of my first ventures into fiction writing a few years ago. I had a wonderful coach pushing me. It was sitting on my computer and I decided to post it. All of the historical things about the Phyllis Wheatley Center, Marian Anderson, the details of the neighborhoods, were true. The murder of two white girls found in a lot about that time also happened. All the residents of my block were real as well with the exception of Yvette who was fictional. Glad you enjoyed it.
