The system is flawed and requires everyone in it to look away. We have to stop saying there are a few bad apples when all the other apples know where the bad ones are and say and do nothing. If a major bank has racist policies and after years of having no Kiwi employees, finally hire some who still charge Kiki’s higher interest rates, deny home and car loans at a higher rate, and are especially rude to Kiwi customers, are they not participating in systemic racism despite being Kiwi? I wish I could see America through your optimistic eyes, perhaps if you lived here and more closely observed the body count, you’d feel differently.
