The goal isn't to make people feel bad about their race. It's to tell an truthful account of what happened. Let's imagine there is no way to provide an accurate version of history that won't make someone feel bad or at least ask questions why? Should the history not be taught. We actually are repeating our history and it's because we haven't learned from it.
