Thank you for sharing your story. My plans this spring were to have visited Richmond and Lumpkin’s Jail and related sites along with a trip to Monticello. I’ve spent a lot of time in downtown Richmond, unaware of all the shameful history around me. I intend to take a closer look. Thanks again and be safe!
