Reparations have been given for some, the biggest beneficiaries in US history were slave owners who were reimbursed for their lost property. The Japanese got 20,000 per person for those actually in the Internment camps. A few Black people got a little money in 1862 if they agreed to leave the country forever. It isn't as if reparations never happened; they didn't always go to the right people. If you need me to make the case that descendants of enslaved people and those who lived through the Black Codes and Jim Crow. I'm more than able. Did you know the middle-class was built mostly on FHA and VA loans and almost no Black families were allowed to get them?
