Not just the Democrats, every political party in history is at least complicit. Before there were Democrats, there were racists. Despite once being the Party of Lincoln, Republicans started looking the other way with the Compromise of 1877 and Posse Comitatus in 1878. Now they are leading the racist charge and Democrats are complicit by acting as if they can do nothing. I'm mildly insulted at the thought I've forgotten my history.
