Nixon had better numbers than Trump at this point in his investigation. What Trump is aware of is what you apparently are not is the power of television. What we haven’t seen yet (but we will) is nightly live witnesses on television telling of Trump abuses of power and obstruction of justice. My hope which may not be fulfilled is that we get to follow the money. We know already he’s a fraud and tax cheat.

To believe that Trump is fit to be President with what you see daily makes you not only blind but willfully obtuse. The standard for Impeachment is not being criminal although he certainly is. Those Republican Senators you think won’t move, need only reach the point where they believe that dumping Trump is to save themselves, which may be too late for some of them (Susan Collins) anyway.

The good news is that you don’t have to pretend anymore that holding the G-7 at Doral was a stroke of genius instead of violating the Constitution. The bad news is that the bell cannot be unrung. You know who is, you just have to pretend he isn’t and convince others.
