Our Human Family Discusses Racial Equity, Allyship, and Inclusion: The Basics, from 10:30 AM-11 AM Eastern Time

I’ve been fortunate enough to be approached by Our Human Family (OHF) to participate in one of the many discussions hosted by Medium. Our panel will be a mini-reunion of some of those that collaborated on the anthology Fieldnotes on Allyship: Achieving Equality Together, published in October 2020. I will be joined by Sherry Kappel, Terra Kestrel, and OHF Founder Clay Rivers in the interactive session that will be open to questions from the Medium family. I will be highlighting Awareness and Understanding and you can count on some historical anecdotes to make my points. Here is the outline for the OHF panel.

Racial Equity, Allyship, And Inclusion: The Basics

Racism, bigotry, and hate crimes are on the rise. People want to get involved but are generally unsure of how and when to get involved. Our Human Family’s stories not only empower people to get involved, they help people discover for themselves why they should. Key points:
