Jefferson was brilliant I agree which made him all the more dangerous. Trump is immoral and dangerous but he's an idiot. Unfortunately that gave free range to other men and women like Steve Bannon, Stephen Miller, and Betsy DeVos to run wild given a Congress unwilling to stop them. Who did more damage? Probably Jefferson, given the centuries of impact of his policies. Then again, Trump (so far) only had one term but the juries are literally yet to decide on him.
