I've gotten $500 every time, definitely not a techie, I write about politics, race, history, and education. I have 7,000+ followers and was invited to apply, but haven't heard back yet.

I don't even know if being invited (or accepted) to the club will mean anything? I don't read the $200 as a bonus but a minimum. In anything like a normal month including this one where I haven't really written for two weeks because od my wedding and honeymoon. I won't have any trouble exceeding $200 though I've never come close to the ten times that amount some here have mentioned.

I don't think it will help me but who knows> We will see.
