In this democracy, the minority wins all the time because of a power differential. 90% of the people favor more strict background checks for guns but it never happens. The majority favor legal abortion but that right has been taken away in most of the country. The majority think all corporations should pay at least some tax but that doesn’t happen. Again, the minority wins all the time.
