I wouldn’t mind pointing to information on voter suppression but I require a small bit of participation. Most suppression is now done on the state level (although there has been coordination with the RNC and they were not long ago released from a Consent Decree barring those activities.)

What I ask is simple, pick any Republican-controlled state that implemented what sounds like eminently fair “Voter ID Laws) and I’ll tell you what else that state did in addition to that to make voting harder for minorities and sometimes students not likely to vote their way. As memory serves there are 25 states that recently imposed such laws so it shouldn’t be hard to find one. The point you will be helping me make is how widespread it is and that it is part of an overall policy and not incidental.
