I would say that the allies who were there after George Floyd are not there in great numbers now. Real change doesn’t occur in a moment. The narrative from the right remains because most of the well-meaning protesters have returned to their homes. What legislation was passed? What meaningful change has occurred? Why are we right back in the same situation now, with only the color of the perpetrators changed? Half of America thinks of that period as violent riots by Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and nothing else. All because the good people who participated went back to being silent.
