I read your hypothesis, in its entirety. There is so much there I confess that it is a disservice to sum it up as saying black people just need to act more white. Your perception of America is one that could never have come from anyone black, Hispanic, Native American, Muslim… anyone not exempt via being rich. The probability of convincing you that your highly considered reasoning is wrong. You first went awry when you postulated that a limited number of white people are racist. What then are all the rest who watch and say nothing? Rather than tell black people to simply assimilate. Try suggesting to your own to be more accepting; eliminating the still existing racist laws and policies along the way. You put a lot of effort into suggesting what black people should do. I’d be curious as to what you believe white people should be doing, or is their current direction to be considered the norm? I can’t wait to see that essay.
