I read your article, I can't recall any time other than Obama when I was presented a choice including a youngish, energetic candidate. With one other exception (Hillary) we've always been left to choose among old white men. Our political process on both sides weeds out most of the better candidates.
Based on the publicity Harris gets and the constant drum of attacks she's received, I can understand you thinking she's unprepared and a bad interviewer. Dan Quayle received a ton of negative press but even he was bright enough to know overthrowing the government is a bad thing. Maybe he deserves reevaluation.
Kamala may not be ultimately be the best available candidate in 2028, then again she might. My point is that there are people in both parties doing their best to ensure she doesn't go far.
