I just wrote a long response and somehow erased it, so here goes again. Thanks for your feedback, I usually get all of my stories into some publication, even if it's one of my own. Some of the editors have requested me and others I followed their submission guidelines. I've stuck with some like Polis out of loyalty, some of what I think are mainstream take so long to respond it grates against my need for instant gratification.

I've been trying for some time to get a book deal. A Medium writer referred me to a leading publisher who looked at my submission but turned me down. I have 2 and 1/2 completed fiction manuscripts. The hald is a complete story but isn't long enough at just over 50,000 words. I'm grudgingly preparing to self-publish but I don't want to take the time to learn the whole publishing business at my youthful age of 67.

I too write what strikes my fancy so I appreciate that about your work. I have recently started a substack without immediate success. I never figured out Instagram or Twitter (X) but do okay on Facebook (Meta). I've written on NewsBreak and got millions of views but wasn't initially accepted because my politics grates against the typical reader there. I've resubmitted some toned-down work to see if I get in.
