I haven't requested any "token" Black people to be added, just the ones that would have been present. If Clavell omitted the Black people that accompanied all the Europeans in Japan at the time , including those we've seen like the crew of the Black Ship and the Jesuit priests. Does that mean every adaption of his work must also erase European slavery (along with the Japanese and Korean slaves as well). I'm not sure you actually read my story and what I was hoping to see.
