I have no idea whether she’s capable of empathy, only that she failed to demonstrate any. As for the lack of a playbook. I was allowing for the fact that she was in a unique situation and there was no playbook to follow. It’s harder to come up with a response in a vacuum and I’m sympathetic that she was thrust into an awkward situation she had no desire to be in. Having said that, in her response she failed miserably.
