I have looked into Gabbie Marshall, and her parents Marne and Ernest. Thus far I can find no documentation that she's Black and every reference to her is as an "American." Still, in some pictures she appears to be something, I'm willing to accept that Iowa doesn't have five-all white starters though I can see how the sources I use might think so. I'll make a change.
