I agree with much of what you said. The Democrat Party is all too willing to compromise and I consider Joe Biden to be one of the most willing. His crime bill and the Clarence Thomas hearings are great examples. It’s a Party perhaps more bound by keeping together its various coalitions rather than guided by sincere principles. Where Republicans miss the boat is rather than try to deny others the ability to vote them out; make them a better offer. Democrats are more often than not a fallback position because there is little or no real choice. I’m a single-issue voter on nothing except voter suppression. That’s why I could never vote Republican, even in the few cases I agree with some of them.
