Hello Lindsay, I’m suggesting nothing of the kind, if they controlled the media they wouldn’t have had to blow up the building they were housed in and not allow a ten-minute extension to get their equipment out. Israel does have willing accomplices in the media (and Congress) that can’t say a bad thing about them. There is also media who won’t say a good thing about Israel but they are far less prominent in America. I’m definitely saying in America we’re getting a very lopsided view that doesn’t take into consideration the constant persecution of the Palestinians.
Since I wrote this piece, Israel with its targeted weapons, destroyed an apartment complex with people inside, justifying it by saying their target was the nearby road with alleged tunnels underneath. Perhaps the AP or Al-Jazeera will flush out the story for us? Wait, they can’t, their equipment was all destroyed.
I could and perhaps will write a story about the indiscriminate missiles fired into Israel by Hamas. But not at the cost of ignoring the destruction and disregard of life demonstrated by the Israeli air raids and the tanks amassing on the border. BiBi himself says he has no interest in ending the conflict yet. Maybe if his polling goes up enough to allow him to stay in power? I compared the Palestinians to Black people in American history. Let me add a quote from Martin Luther King, Jr. “A riot is the language of the unheard.”
