Hello Bob! Had you gotten your history in an American classroom, you would know Patrick Henry by his quote, “Give me liberty or give me death.” It’s part of the American exceptionalism we’re taught that puts Americans above any other nation. There is a movement in our largest school systems like that of Texas that influences all the smaller surrounding states to teach American exceptionalism to the exclusion of conflicting evidence.
