Do you think middle/upper-middle-class minorities weren’t/aren’t discriminated against because they had money? The same colleges that just were denied their ability to use race as a factor still discriminates in favor of almost exclusively white people with their legacy admissions. Even in its glory days, affirmative action was a cap on minority admissions and a protectionist move for white people. I feel sad you’ve been convinced some minorities don’t deserve it while white people continue to benefit.
