Certainly, “Bernie Bros” a term I never used are not singularly to blame for the outcome of the election. They certainly could have made the difference, as could have several other factors that had they gone differently would have caused a different result.

There is no obligation for Bernie supporters to vote Democrat if he’s not the nominee. No obligation to vote for anyone at all. No obligation to care a whit about what their vote means if they don’t get their way. If you are looking for some indication the DNC put their finger on the scale somewhere for the ultimate nominee, you’ll no doubt find it whether true or not. I don’t have anything against Bernie, it’s early and he could make a serious run, but if my favorite isn’t the nominee. I won’t throw away my vote out of spite because in my state (Florida) it might matter. If I lived in another state no telling what I might do.

I recognize Trump as a bigger enemy to my way of life than any of the Democrat candidates. In the future, a third Party might be viable but not today. Who knows, either the Democrats or Republicans may soon go the way of the Whigs? In 2020, I’m working with what we have. Take care.
