Are you arguing Thomas sold his soul first to George Bush prior to Harlan Crow? I’ll buy that. Thomas used to benefit from affirmative action, getting into Princeton and Yale before he hated it. I never said he acted out of character, I say he has no character. He broke federal law by failing to disclose his real estate transaction. He’s taken millions of dollars in vacations and gifts from someone who always has his interests before the court. Ethics violations aren’t excused because he might have done the same things anyway; there is still the appearance of impropriety which used to be considered a bad thing.
