I had no idea about the words "comfort women" being politically charged. If I've offended you with the use of the term I apologize. I saw the term as something our cultures had in common. Black women in America worked in a different structure where any/every Black woman was subject not only to be used for sex but casually raped with no recourse, often for the purpose of having children that would also be slaves. I am getting bombarded with questions/comments on this and other stories, more than half who believe there were no Black people at all in Japan. I don't have the time or energy to answer all of them in the way they would hope. If I provide a link it's to keep from recreating something that already exists. Take care.
