Aaron, since the title referred to white people getting reparations for no longer enslaving people, what era would you like the examples to come from? While enslavement did not stop completely in 1865, most reparations to white people did come within the next few years.

If by “ direct injury” you mean no longer receiving an undeserved benefit, you’re right though most white people received direct and indirect benefits from enslavement, imposition of the Black Codes immediately afterward, Jim Crow after that, and the current unnamed system of inequality imposed in America.
