A few thoughts. All 32 teams did pass on him though the need wasn't as great for some teams as others. Is there an NFL team that doesn't carry at least 3 quarterbacks? While a team might not have a need for him in the first round. Was he not the best available player by the time we got to the third and fourth round no matter who your starting QB is?

If this is about antagonism towards Deion, the issue doesn't change one bit. Several college quarterbacks played for their fathers without the backlash. Deion, BTW has had incredible success at Colorado, especially considering what he started with. He improved the squad dramatically in each of his first two years. Next year without Shedeur and Travis Hunter will be a true test.

I have no idea whether Shedeur is a good kid or not. I disapproved of some of his antics but I'm old school and expect a more respectful attitude. Still, I saw nothing to suggest he was a bad teammate, quite the opposite. I suspect we'll eventually get names for some of those anonymous quotes, those guys will lose the trust of many of the players on that team.

Another name I thought of and didn't use was Jim McMahon from BYU. He was very arrogant, and also won a Super Bowl. I wish the same thing for Shedeur.
